Rosalyn Anne Polak, affectionately known as Roz, was a distinguished American information scientist and a proud member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Her career and life were marked by consistent excellence, adaptability, and a profound love for both her work and the people in her life.
Born in 1955, in West Point, New York, Roz was the cherished daughter of Philip Bertram and Claire Ramona (Bobbie) Polak.
She showed a passion for learning from an early age, which she pursued vigorously throughout her life:

Roz was recognized as a notable information scientist by Marquis Who's Who and was a dedicated member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Roz loved date nights with Bob, playing pickleball, reading, and engaging in spirited card games with friends, whether at home or in the casinos. She had a zest for life and cherished her time with family and friends.
