Patricia Z. Ziton Meeks

Patty Ziton Meeks, 57, of Naples, FL, went to meet her parents, Dr. Albert and Melna Ziton, on November 24, 2010. Patty was born in St. Paul, MN on February 22, 1953. Patty was "One Tough Gal" in her five year battle with cancer.

Patty graduated from Johnson High School in St. Paul and continued her education at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, FL. During her career as a graphic artist, Patty was the recipient of many awards in recognition of her talents. Patty last shared her talents as a graphic artist with the Naples Daily News.

Patty is survived by Michael Rogers, her soul mate and partner of 21 years; Lindsey J. Meeks, daughter; Nancy Z. Dinunzio (Joseph), sister; David A. Ziton (Eisa), brother; her grandson, Christian; and granddaughter, Hazel Rose; her nieces, Chelsea and Megan Ziton; and great nephew, Sebastian; nephew, JJ (Cookie) and Imani Dinunzio; also her family in Mississippi and Minnesota.

At her side to offer support were Jannie Groberg, Kevin Pomeroy, Nora Mucha, and Laura Jo Smith.

Patty will always be remembered for her love for her plants, the moon, and being on the water here in Naples.

Patty will be missed by all those who knew her as the kind and caring person that never had a mean word to say. Most of all, she will not have to sit in the back seat again. "Nit nit Patty."

Visitation will be Sunday, November 28, 2010 (TOMORROW) from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL 34108.

Mass of Christian Burial will occur Monday, November 29 2010 at 10:00am at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church 625 111th Ave N. Naples, Florida 34110 (239) 566-8740
