Mary was born July 15, 1921 in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania. She married the love of her life, Paul Roadman, on June 1, 1941. Together they raised 5 beautiful children in the Pittsburgh area.
Mary retired from the A&P in 1979 and moved to sunny Florida. Paul and Mary spent over 54 years together until his death in 1995.
Mary is survived by her children: Paul, Barbara Wilmes (Howard), John, Kathy Kuester (Ron), Sharon Ardrey (Barry), grandchildren; Stephanie Skillin (Ed), Stephen (Amy), Scott, Matthew Wilmes (Sunny), Michael Wilmes (Liz), Heather Grass (Jeff), Ronnie Kuester (Lucy), her great-grandchildren; Miranda, Andrew, Landon, Rilynn, Bree, Emma, Cameron, Johnnie, Ben, Adam, Hannah, Auggie, and Ginny.
Mary was preceded in death by her dear husband Paul, and her loving daughters-in-law Kay and Morene.
Mary's love of her "babies", as she called them, knew no bounds. She cherished them all and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could. Their trips to see Grandma Roadman in Florida were some of her best memories.
Mary loved singing around the house (even though she didn't know all the words), a good party, crocheting, embroidery, reading, golf, Mahjong, and Yahtzee (some say she may have cheated at Yahtzee).
