Marge was predeceased by her parents, August and Anna Morianti and brother Reginald. She was the loving wife of Joe Arpin; loving mother of Jim (Lori) Arpin, MaryJo (John) Racy, Paul (Katherine) Arpin and Molly (Domenic) Ferrante; and loving grandmother (Mimi) to Jeffrey, Patrick and Margot Racy; Philip, John Paul and Katie Mee Arpin; and Julia, Matt, Nicole and Luke Ferrante. She will be fondly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Ken and Joan Wysocki, of Beverly Hills, MI and her cherished family of nieces and nephews along with her sister-in-law, Kay Arpin, of Toronto, Ontario.
Marge was born in Windsor, Ontario on June 30, 1936. She attended Pasadena City College.
Marge married Joe Arpin of Windsor, Ontario and together they raised four children in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She treasured her beloved husband of 62 years, forever grateful for their family rituals. Marge’s ten grandchildren were her pride and joy and she surrounded them with love and affection.
Always up for Rummikub with the kids, a late-night card game, or Mahjong with the girls, Marge had a zest for life. Her kitchen was always open. Marge will be remembered for her exceptional entertaining, knitting and her sense of curiosity.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be directed to Third Piece, a knitting community providing a fun creative outlet for front-line workers during their days off.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:45 am on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. William Catholic Church in Naples, FL and will be live streamed at www.saintwilliam.org
Mass will be followed by a burial at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens.
