Trying to put Mrs. Belcastro & the incredible life she lived into words is simply  impossible. Mrs. Belcastro has a spirit & energy like no other & she left a legacy on this earth that will inspire others for generations to come.  My first vivid memory of Mrs. Belcastro was me peeking out & seeing her beautiful, bright smile & sweet face lighting up as I hid behind my mom's legs at the kindergarten meet & greet. Mrs. Belcastro was so warm, welcoming, & nurturing to all the students coming into her class to meet her for the very first time. She has this soul that exuded familiarity, safety, love, joy, &  brightness. I will never forget the precious moments of Mrs. Belcastro dancing on the tables to the Beach Boys music & all the students dancing along. I remember our little Kindergarten wedding & all the amazing times Mrs. Belcastro read books to us, enriching our hearts & young imaginations with her entertaining, silly, & playful personality. I remember feeling like anything was possible in life with Mrs. Belcastro as one of my biggest fans, support systems & cheerleaders & this was something she made not only me feel but countless others. I remember moving close to the Belcastros & going over to their house to play with Jake & Wish & swim in the pool. We would spend New Years Eve & the Super bowl there too. I was in awe of Mrs. Belcastro & the bright, loving, & compassionate soul she possessed. Mrs. Belcastro and I got along so well since we shared a similiar passionate love for animals. The way she loved her dogs melted my heart & validated my own deep & unique love for animals. I will never forget Mrs. Belcastro's adorable little snort she made when she laughed so hard & over the years I picked that up from her. I always imagined Mrs. Belcastro seeing me get married  & her holding my own babies one day because I just knew she would be the best Auntie to them. Just like the adopted Aunt she was to me since I was a little girl.  I love you so much Mrs. Belcastro. 

I still think that I will look out our kitchen window & see Jenny walking her Tucker, & now the puppy, across our lawn....her beautiful smile, her warmth & her loving personality will be missed by everyone in our neighborhood. I reflect on memories of Mrs. Belcastro from when I was growing up, as she was our neighbor. She was always walking and playing with her dogs and her beautiful smile could be seen from down the road. My Dad and I always spoke of the dog we would see with Mr. & Mrs. Belcastro that carried the teddy bear. We have been blessed not only with the memories of Mrs. Belcastro as our neighbor and friend, but also as a substitute teacher for my daughter a few times in her days in school. Our daughter, Molly, was so excited when she had Mrs. Belcastro as a substitute at Sea Gate, as she already knew her as her Grandpa‘s neighbor and friend and recalls many times getting to visit and play with her dogs. We are no doubt shocked and saddened by her passing, but know that she left such a positive mark on this world and her impact will be felt for generations to come. Mr. Belcastro, we send you our love, positive energy, and prayers of strength. May cherished memories and knowing what an amazing impact she had on this world bring you peace. It has been more than 30 years since Jenny Belcastro literally danced her way into the hearts of the McEachern family. Our youngest son was assigned to Jenny’s kindergarten class at Seagate. My wife Laurie, doing her Mom due diligence, had to observe Jenny in that first week of school. She immediately won our hearts by her loving tenderness to our son and all of class. Then one day he reported that she had promised the class she would dance on the tables, if they would cooperate with her. They did, and she did. And she sheepishly admitted at open house that yes she had indeed danced for her class as a reward. We knew then that we had met a most extraordinary teacher and had begun a friendship with a wonderful person. Four years later when our younger daughter started kindergarten, we made sure that the principal knew that there was only one, still dancing, kindergarten teacher for us. Our daughter, like our son before, adored Jenny, who was so tender and loving to our daughter, helping a very shy girl to gain confidence in herself. And yes she continued to dance on tables for the little ones.Throughout the years as our son and daughter grew older and on into adulthood, they always had to visit Mrs. Belcastro and share how their lives were unfolding. The McEachern family will deeply miss this most marvelous person, Jenny Belcastro, always dancing in our hearts.

Dear family, my deepest sympathy to each of you. There are so many wonderful memories for all of us to share about Jenny. She brought joy,love,and laughter into our lives. Her energy was amazing and she didn’t seem to have an ‘off’ button. The gifts God put into her spilled over into life and the lives she touched. God chose her to be that special kindergarten teacher. Jenny had a way with my two daughters who adored their Aunt Jenny.  She was special to them and me. We reconnected many times over the years and each time I wished we had more time. The Lord holds Jenny safely in His arms. We will see her again. Love you all and God bless.

We are heartbroken.  Both my daughters were blessed to have Jenny as their K teacher.  She was an amazing, passionate teacher who instilled a love for learning in all of her students.  And she did it with humor and fun, from dancing on classroom tables to performing cheerleading stunts on the playground.  She let us sneak our new kitten in, having the students sit in a big circle and plopping the kitten down in the middle.  She made her students feel safe and loved.  She left her mark in this world through all those she taught and touched.  RIP, Jenny.

Jenny was  kind hearted, caring, and a very special person. My best friend throughout school and continued friendship ever since, no matter how far apart we lived. Forever in my heart and I'm blessed to have had such a sweet lady as a good friend.

I will never forget her. I played golf with Jen many times and we always laughed together and had so much fun. One time my ball landed about 4 inches in the water and she and I stood there looking at the ball she suggested I take my sock and shoe off and hit the ball out of the water! I looked at her and said I don’t think that’s happening today! She was very joyful and enjoyed life to the fullest. The world was a better place with her in it. Deepest sympathy to the entire family. I went to high school with Jenny at PHS and had classes with her. She was always so friendly and kind to everyone who crossed her path. Even though I haven’t spoken to her in over 40 years, I know if we had the chance we’d pick up like it was just yesterday. Many prayers for this precious lady and her family.
