Florence Weinstein, a veteran of the Second World War, died peacefully in her sleep on September 25, one month after celebrating her 100th birthday with her family and many friends. She is survived by her sons Paul and Steve, grandchildren Max and Maya, and great-granddaughter Izabel. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she moved to Portsmouth, Ohio, shortly after the war with Max, her husband of 60 years, A long-time resident of Naples, every day she was well known in Palm River Estates for her daily bicycle ride. She enjoyed doing puzzles and was an avid reader up until her death. Florence will be celebrated at a Funeral service on October 2nd.
