He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Jacqueline, his loving children, Charles E. Gaffney, Jr. and Georgette (Jhon) Acevedo, his grandchildren Carly Rose Gaffney, Jhon Charles Acevedo and Jacqueline Jude Acevedo, his great grandson Jaxon Charles Gaffney, his sisters-in-law, Patricia (Paul) Ondrush, Delia Leahy and Maureen (Jeff) McAvoy, he is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Craig Leahy , Meagan Leahy and her children Riley and Kayleigh, Richard (Denise) Spevak, and their children Joseph (Michelle) and Thomas, Robert Ondrush, Robert (Marianne) Wagner, Dorothy (Frank) Demizio, John (Daria) Widing and Linda Sullivan Wagner.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 at 1:00PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
