Carol Ann Kelly

Carol will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 16 years Charles (Chuck) H. Kelly, her sons- Denis Barrett and William Barrett, her grandson- Jeffery (Hillary) Hendrix, great grandchild- Finn Hendrix, and her best friend Vaunda Kennard.

Carol was born on Feb. 6th 1941 in Pensacola Fl to Essie Suarez and Leaman Fontaine.

A longtime resident of Pensacola, Carol graduated from Pensacola High School in 1959, and then University of West Florida in her 40’s with a B.A. in Marketing. Carol founded and/or ran several business enterprises during her life including real estate investing, clinics to aid people with weight loss with her longtime friend Vaunda Kennard and Global Travel in Pensacola with her son Denis.

Carol’s longtime desire for travel was realized later in life when she was able to explore the world on various lengthy cruises around the Americas, the Caribbean, and Alaska. Carol moved to Naples, Fl in her sixties where she resided comfortably for the rest of her life.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the caregivers at Avow Hospice and NCH Baker Downtown Hospital in Naples, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Avow Hospice Naples.
