Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jean, daughter Tracey (Devin), brothers Brent and Bob (Patti), brother-in-law Dave, sister-in-law Irene (Mel) and many other relatives and friends.
Bill was born in Perth, Scotland, and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1952 at the age of 3 ½. He had many fond memories of growing up in Ocean Falls, B.C.
Bill worked for a short time as a Mining Technician and then changed careers and became a Power Engineer working for Ocean Falls Pulp and Paper Mill, Nanaimo Military Camp and finally for School District 68.
In retirement, Bill’s many passions included gardening, cruising, cooking, ballroom dancing, renovating and Science Fiction novels/movies. He was always learning something new – never bored.
Bill loved family gatherings and was often found in the kitchen preparing food or carving the turkey.
Bill loved all kinds of music. On his final night he drifted away from us listening to Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits.
We will celebrate his life at a later date.
