He is survived by his son, Shawn Bradley Hamilton, and daughter, Krista Lee Hamilton. Darrell enlisted and proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1960 to 1995.
He devoted his life to his family, friends, and cats. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour, his strong integrity, and love for life.
At his request, Darrell asked that no funeral be held. A Celebration of Life will be planned and announced at a later date.
He will be deeply missed and will forever be in the hearts of those he touched and left behind.
On the Sea
It keeps eternal whisperings around
Desolate shores, and with its mighty swell
Gluts twice ten thousand Caverns, till the spell
Of Hecate leaves them their old shadowy sound.
Often 'tis in such gentle temper found,
That scarcely will the very smallest shell
Be moved for days from where it sometime fell.
When last winds of Heaven were unbound
