It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike, a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend, who left us far too soon. Mike was an extraordinary individual whose life was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit, love for the outdoors, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends.

Born with a natural talent for business, Mike started his own company and quickly made a name for himself in the investment world. His passion for learning and his drive to succeed were evident in every venture he undertook.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mike was an avid outdoorsman. He found joy in surfing in Tofino, hiking, fishing, camping, snowboarding and kayaking. His love for adventure and nature was infectious, and he often shared these experiences with those he loved.

He possessed a natural talent for art and had a profound love for music. His artistic abilities and musical interests highlight his diverse and creative nature.

Mike had a contagious laugh. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends, always standing up for the little guy and offering a helping hand to those in need. His love for his 4Runner and Tacoma was well-known, as was his affinity for watches and shopping for clothes.

Some of his happiest moments were spent on road trips with his brothers. These journeys were filled with laughter, stories, and unforgettable memories.

A true world traveler, Mike lived in both Australia and Ontario before settling in Vancouver Island, B.C., embracing the cultures and experiences each place had to offer. His adventurous spirit and zest for life took him to many corners of the globe, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire us. He leaves behind a family who adored him and countless friends who will miss him greatly.
