Sharon worked for the appraisal district in Kansas and retired from the Cherokee County Appraisal district. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and horses. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and served on the ladies guild of St. Therese Catholic Church in Canton.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael D. Fain.
She is survived by husband, Michael W. Martin; daughter, Kim Chaddick and husband Nathan; sister, Charmayne Dickhaut and husband Steve; grandsons, Jaden Whitely and wife Taylor and Kyler Whitely; niece, Erin A. Garner and husband Jimmy; great niece, Charlotte S. Garner.
A Memorial Mass will be held, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2020, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the Old Catholic Cemetery at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Nacogdoches, Texas.
