Robert Wayne Birdwell Jr., age 52, of Alto, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at his home. He was born August 6, 1969, in Nacogdoches to parents Robert Wayne Birdwell, Sr. and Hilda (Corley) Birdwell.
Mr. Birdwell worked as a truck driver for M & R Trucking. He loved to work on old cars and drive big trucks.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wayne Birdwell, Sr.; sister, Angela Stephens; grandfather, Robert E. Birdwell; and grandparents, Habert and Maddie May.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Birdwell; sons, Cody Birdwell, Dusty Birdwell and Justin Birdwell; daughters, Lindsy Birdwell and Krystal Birdwell; mom, Elaine Birdwell; mom, Hilda Birdwell; niece, Ashley Birdwell; sister, Brittany Ford; aunt, Wanda Yates and husband Larry; and many cousins.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Robert will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
