Mary Eleanor Diconi was born March 16, 1938 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Anthony Diconi and Maurine (Renfro) Diconi. She passed from this world on December 7th, 2023 at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 21 days.
Mary and her brother, Charles were Houstonians; born, raised, graduated high school and lived the first part of their lives in Houston. Charles remains there today. Mary originally worked for the Galveston Courts as a court reporter, but broke away and moved to Nacogdoches over 35 years ago. She lived in the Pleasant Hill Community. She worked in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse with their courts, but she also was a freelancer where she traveled much of East Texas doing depositions, etc.
Ms. Diconi is preceded in death by her parents, other relatives and many friends. She currently was residing at Stallings Court here in Nacogdoches.
Per Mary’s wishes, there will not be a memorial service, but Charles will carry her ashes back to South Park Cemetery in Houston where she has a space beside her parents.
