Kay was born November 13, 1946, in Lufkin, Texas. She had been a longtime resident of Nacogdoches, Texas.
Her survivors include her sons, Scott Steinsiek and wife Sheila of Tomball, Texas, and Brian Steinsiek of Tampa, Florida; and a sister, Peggy Jones and husband Emil of Lufkin, Texas.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf's Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas. Officiating will be Bro. Tim Brewer of Harmony Baptist Church.
