Survivors include: wife, Elvira Barrera; daughter, Estrella Martinez and husband Marcial; daughter, Leticia Martinez and husband Daniel; son, Manuel de Jesus Martinez and wife Maria; son, Pedro Martinez and wife Aracely; grandchildren, Oscar Miranda, Jacqueline Morales, Angel Martinez, Denise Martinez, Daniel Morales, Valerie Martinez, Leo Martinez, Sotero Garcia, Yaretzi Garcia, Giovani Martinez, Jaaziel Morales, Elver Martinez, Ethan Martinez, Citlalli Garcia, and Susana Martinez; great-grandson, Thiago Corona.
A visitation for Manuel will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965. A rosary will occur Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, March 31, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Nacogdoches, Texas.
Mr. Martinez will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Texas.
