Irene Renfro Muller

Mrs. Muller was born March 1, 1916, to parents John Renfro and Katie (Anderson) Renfro Davison and was a longtime resident of the Nacogdoches area. She retired after working several years in the dietary department at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.

She was married October 17, 1936, to J.L. Muller. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1974. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Margie Burgess; sisters, Ola Mae Boatman and Berniece McShan; and brothers, A.J. Renfro and Ray Davison.

Her survivors include her faithful companion, James Wilburn Wilson; sister, Louise Crofford and husband Jerry; granddaughter, Laura Harris; great-grandsons, David Keiffer and Jason Watkins; and great-granddaughters, Amanda Thomas, Brandi Hooks, Whitney Self, and Emily Self.

Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, with Bro. Bob Little officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street in Nacogdoches.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
