Hector came along the side of his parents to the United States at just two months of age. Although he was not born in Nacogdoches, he was proud to be from Nacogdoches and love everything about it.
Hector attended Nacogdoches High School graduating with the class of 1998. During high school, he was a proud member of the Dragon Band. He carried his love for the band after high school supporting them any way he could. After high school he attended It-Tech in Phoenix, Arizona were he earned his Associate degree in Graphic design in 2000.
He worked as an Admissions clerk for Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Those that knew him at the hospital knew him as a hard worker, jokester, and someone that we very detailed oriented.
In his free time, he enjoyed reading, photography, gaming, camping, watching the NHS Band, and spending time with his children and those he loved.
Hector was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Jaimes; grandparents, Juan Jaimes, Maxima Silva, and Calletano Martinez.
Those left to cherish his memory include wife Ericka Santoyo Martinez; son, Jeremiah Alejandro Martinez; daughter, Zamara Emmani Martinez; parents, Jesus and Teodora Martinez; siblings, David Martinez, Jesus Martinez Jr. and wife Silvia Martinez, Sylvia Butler and husband Thomas Butler, and Cristina Rebollar and husband Omar Rebollar; 6 nieces and 2 nephews, Cristina, Tayde, Yalitza, Claudia, David, Alison, Lilliana, and Ethan.
A visitation for Hector will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965. A funeral service will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Iglesia Bautista Cristiana, 1917 S. Fredonia Street, Nacogdoches, TX.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Nacogdoches, Texas.
