Franki Marialice Sitton

Franki Marialice Sitton lived the majority of her life in Nacogdoches, TX and raised chickens for Pilgrim's for 32 years. She passed away October 7, 2024, at her residence after a brave battle with cancer.

She was born in Phenix City, Alabama to parents J.F. Mathews and Alice Adele Mathews.

Mrs. Sitton is preceded in death by her parents J.F. Mathews and Alice Mathews, her husband of 39 years Don Sitton, daughter Donna Melissa Sitton, sisters Betty Beard, Jeanette Blackmon, and brothers William Terrell Mathews and John T. Mathews.

Franki is survived by her loving family. Daughter Lynda Lee Welch and husband David, parents to her

granddaughter Samantha Welch of Nacogdoches, TX; son Garth James Sitton and wife Heather of Nacogdoches, TX Donald Grant Sitton, Leslie Sitton mother of grandson Jackson Sitton;

sister Vickie Burks and husband Mike of Tyler, TX, sister Windy Oliver of San Augustine, TX

Franki was also blessed with many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 12, at 10:00 am at Nat Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, October 11, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home.

Services are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
