Steven was born December 1, 1953, the son of Richard Kolka and Phyllis Robbins. He married Judy Hodgson in 1978. They enjoyed 46 beautiful years together. He was born and raised in Grand Haven. Steven was an avid collector of all things brass. His Santa Claus laugh could fill any room with joy. He was a hard worker that was a big teddy bear with a huge loving heart.
Steven is survived by: his wife, Judy; His son, Andrew (Nikol) Kolka; Son, Timothy Kolka; Grandchildren, Andrew Kolka Jr. and Lukas Kolka; Brothers, Royal Kolka, Mark (Sandy) Kolka, and Kim Kolka; Sisters, Debbie (Ron) Brown and Linda (Brad) Peterson. He also has several special nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by both parents, and two granddaughters, Natalie and Danielle.
Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date to be determined.
