Steven Orin Foster

Steve was born December 26, 1949, the son of Frank and Glenda Foster. He married Renea Sowles on November 11, 1978 and together they were blessed with 3 children and almost 45 years of marriage. Steve served his country proudly in the US Army. He worked for Comcast most of his career. He enjoyed playing music and over the years played drums in many bands including, “Loose Country” “Band of Outlaws” and “Yesterdays Wine”. He was also a lifetime member of VFW post 7729. Besides making music he enjoyed yardwork, gardening, being outdoors, and cooking. He was a quiet, hardworking, loving man, who will be deeply missed.

Steve is survived by: his wife, Renea; children, Stephanie (Fernando) Villarreal, and Emily (Jesse) Carlisle; grandchildren, Serenity, Lili, Paisley, Karina, Camila, and Jesse Jr; sisters, Kathy Foster, and Margaret Furbush.

He was preceded in death by: his son, Steve “Toad” Foster Jr.; his parents; and brother-in-law, Michael Furbush.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023 at EverRest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 1783 E Keating Avenue Muskegon. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the start of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery.
