Sharon was born on August 12, 1949 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Joseph and Della Lalonde who preceded her in death. She was married to the love of her life, her husband of 50 years, David A. Pickett who preceded her in death on September 14, 2017. You could always find them sitting out on their porch drinking coffee, cooking steaks on the grill and admiring their beautiful gardening. She also enjoyed yearly trips to St. Ignace, the hometown of her father, and going to the casino. She loved visiting with family and friends whenever possible.
She was beautiful inside and out and was known for her captivating red hair. She will be remembered for always being there for her family, to listen to any one of us when we needed her and offering advice or kind words that made you feel like you could handle anything that life could throw at you. She also had a love of decorating in her vintage style of green and purple and collecting antiques which included her beautiful lady planter collection. She also loved dancing to her Elvis records, sewing, needlepoint, crafts, and most of all taking care of her precious bulldogs. She resided in the Muskegon/Whitehall area most of her life to be close to family.
Sharon is survived by her 4 children, David (Melanie)Pickett, Shantelle (Ron) Yahne, Amanda (Jack) Spitler, and Aaron (Shelly) Pickett; her 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and her 5 siblings including her sister and best friend Debi (Richard) Plunkett, Joseph L. Lalonde, Steven (Karen) Lalonde, Joseph M. (Pam) Lalonde, and Terri Lalonde.
She will be dearly missed.
