Mr. Roger Norman Thompson, age 76, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012. Roger was born in Muskegon on January 1, 1936 to Norman and Lenore (Rogers) Thompson. He is survived by his children, Shirley (Charles) Williams, Julie Norton, Marvin (Jill) Norton and Steven Norton; three grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Jerry) Mazurek; brother-in-law, Bob Marshall; sister-in-law, Betty Bond; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita L. (Abson) Thompson in 2005; his parents; one sister, Karen Marshall. Roger had worked at Paperbox in Muskegon for 33 years and then at Dienetics of Jenison until his retirement in 2002. He had been a member of the Muskegon Recreation Club and Pulaski Lodge #2809. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
