Robert Christiansen, age 92, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2013 at Heartwood Lodge. Robert was born August 11, 1920 in Muskegon, MI. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He loved time spent with family, playing golf and playing bingo. He leaves behind a son, Robert Jr. (Birgitta), three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 73 years, Gloria Christiansen, on May 29, 2013, and a daughter, Sylvia. As were his wishes, a family celebration of Robert’s life is planned for a later date. He will be missed.
