Lillie was born Feb. 17, 1926 in Versailles, Kentucky to Frank and Hester (Neudigate) Matthews. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Lill was a loving stay at home mom, who always had a kind word and never forgot a date!
She was preceded in death by her husband Marlin in March of 2000, and a grandson Marcus Baker in 1985.
Surviving are her children, Marlin D. Jr. (Kimberly) Raymond of Rapid City, MI, Edward (Toni) Britton of Ludington, Carla (Jim) Baker of Thompsonville, and Fred Britton of Rothbury; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; a niece Rose Dean of Kentucky; and dear friends Ben and Paul Settle of Kentucky.
Funeral services are planned for 11am, Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 3252 Apple Ave., Muskegon. A light luncheon will follow the Funeral Mass at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be at St. Thomas Church Monday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
