He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Willadene Russell; brother, Timothy James Russell; and children, Joni Rae Johnson, and Jeanie Lynn Karsten.
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Bruce Scott Russell, and Tamara (Russell) VanRhee; three grand children, Nick, Zack, and Hannah; three great grandchildren, Karter, Kamrie, and Kaivick.
As a boy, he loved sports and playing billiards. As an adult, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and continued his love for billiards.
