Edward W. Dow, 81 of Sand Lake (formerly of Muskegon) passed away Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. He was born on August 8th, 1943 to Lee and Margaret Dow. On August 2nd, 1986 he married the love of his life Paulette (Portenga).
He drove a Semi for most of his life until retirement, during which time he enjoyed racing, camping, golfing, playing cards, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving, caring, funny, and honest man who will be deeply missed.
Ed is survived by his siblings Leroy (Pat) Dow. Keith (Lori) Dow and Maude Powers. His children Ed (Annette) Dow. Rich Dow. Shannon (Mark) Rennells and Jeff Spytma. Grandkids Lil Ed, Kasey, Delrae, Cameron, Spencer, Allie, Shelby, Mackenzie, Lil Mark, Brittany, Brooke, Bradley, and many great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, his brother Norm Dow, and brother-in-law Emerald Powers.
A Memorial service will take place on Friday, November 15th, 2024 at 3:00 with a visitation one hour prior at Everest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel 1783 East Keating Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442.
