Bruce married the love of his life, Joanne Norton, on August 19, 1961 and the couple spent many wonderful years together. He loved his wife very much, and would do anything for her with a smile. Even if he was frustrated, he would smile and say “Ok Honey”. He worked for many years at American Coil Springs until he was able to enjoy 20 blissful years of retirement. Bruce was a real outdoorsman. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, golf, going on many family trips, deer hunting, fishing, and camping. Bruce was able to make friends wherever he went. He had an infectious smile and a loud, but contagious, laugh. He and Joanne were snowbirds and would travel to Florida when Michigan got just a little too cold. He was a member of the Eagles, The VFW 7729, and the Gilmorendorf Lodge. Bruce was very friendly and was always willing to help anyone. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Bruce will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
