Brian was born October 10, 1943, the son of Howard and Ella Simpson. He served his country proudly in the US Navy as a Corpsman. He met the love of his life while home on leave. He married Sharyl Good on July 11, 1964. Together they were blessed with three children and nearly 57 years of marriage.
Brian worked as a supervisor at the Paper Mill in Muskegon. He had a hard work ethic and did everything with excellence. He was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, VFW Post 8846, Lunch Bunch, and the Decade Group from Muskegon Heights High School.
Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, spending time at the cabin -- really anything outdoors. He was self-taught in home improvement projects working meticulously and with perfection. He did whatever Sharyl asked of him to make their house a home. And he was a computer whiz. Brian was a trend setter when it came to anything dealing with technology and computers. Most important in his life though was his beautiful bride Sharyl, his family, and his love for Jesus. He was a kind, empathetic, compassionate, loving, spiritual man, who will be deeply missed.
Brian is survived by: his wife Sharyl; children, Sue (Tony) Moulds, Sherry (Kurt) Hillard, Stacy (Tim) Freed; grandchildren, Andrew, Nick, Hannah, Molly (Jeremy), Laura (Kyle), Devin (Destiny Haywood), Brayden, Abbie, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Anahlee, Alivia, Lainey, Brianna, JJ, and David; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Dennis; and sister, Sharon.
