Albert Amado Lara

Albert was born June 9, 1954 to Amado and Raymonde (Herbert) Lara who preceded him in death, along with in-laws Jeanette Lara and Rick Stanton. He graduated from Muskegon Community College and attended Hope College in pursuit of an Engineering degree. He retired from Neway after 30 years of service. Albert was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed music and guitars, and as a young man would DJ weddings and events in his spare time.

He is survived by his daughters Melissa (Jim) Linton and Jennifer (Jeremy) Holman; grandson Johnathan (RoAnn) Lara; former wife and lifelong friend Diane Lara, siblings Anna Lara Stanton, Jackie (Gary) Greenert, Danny (Nora) Lara, and Robert Lara; aunts Juliette and Ruth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends Mike Blackburn and Joe Gauthier.

An informal celebration of life sharing time will be from 1-4:00pm over a meal with family and friends on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Living Life Church, 2808 S. Mill Iron Rd., Muskegon.

(Masks will be required for those attending.)
