Patricia “Patsy” Parks, age 75, of Nashville, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at home in West Nashville. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Canaday and Margaret Kistner Canaday Rathburn. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Charlie) Wharton and Cynthia Milligan; granddaughters, Melissa Sutton, Rukmin Rampersad and Shanti Rampersad; grandsons, Matthew Wharton, Bradley Midgett and Nicholas Weiss; sister, Eva (Bobby) Phillips; and brothers, Louis (Maryann Rathburn and Richard Canaday; and great granddaughter, Adalyn Walpole. Services to celebrate Patsy will be at Twelve Noon on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Barth Vernon United Methodist Church in West Nashville with Pastor Alex Jackson officiating. Placement will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison where family will serve as pallbearers. In addition to her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly A. Rampersad. Friends are cordially invited to visitation Tuesday evening from Four to Eight at the church and also Wednesday morning from Ten until the service begins.
