Maurice M. “Joe” Myers, age 81, of Murfreesboro, passed away at his home on Tuesday morning, September 27, 2016. Mr. Myers was the son of the late Dewey A. and Byrdie Lee Boone Myers. He is survived by a daughter, Donna (Kenny) England; sons, Maurice M. “Skeeter” Myers, Tommy (Debbie) Tidwell, Steve (Jennifer) Myers and Joel B. Myers; brother, James E. (Jo) Myers; grandchildren, Kimberly, Tony, Kevin, Anthony, Beth, Greg, Stacey, Kristen, Steven, Kayla AnneMarie, Dylan, Austin, Alec and Dalton; and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Myers. Services to celebrate Mr. Myers will be at Eleven o’clock the morning of Monday, October 3, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Mr. Myers was a US Army veteran and worked for over 30 years for Lee Company as a HVAC installer.
