Lloyd Eugene Davis

Lloyd Eugene Davis, age 77, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday morning November 22, 2023 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Mr. Davis was the son of the late Corine and Fratus Davis, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edna Travis Davis; daughters, Paula Hunt and her husband Paul and Melanie Brown and her husband Erik; grandchildren, Christopher “CJ” Burns and his wife Stephanie, Spencer Hunt, Amanda Hunt, Regina Brown, Isabella Brown and Emily Brown; sisters, Elaine Redmond and her husband Herbert and Betty Hall and her husband Donald; brother, Ronald Davis and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by infant granddaughter, Ericka Brown; brothers, James, William “Bill”, Fratus Jr., and Edward “Eddie” Davis.

Services to celebrate Mr. Davis will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Chaplain James Saunders officiating. Friends are cordially invited to visitation Monday evening November 27, 2023 from Four O’clock until Eight O’clock also at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Davis proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam and was a member of American Legion Post 16 and they merged with Post 141 due to membership. He was a longtime electrician having worked for S&W Electric and retired from C.O. Christian Electric in Nashville.

Memorials may be made to any charity supporting veteran, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
