On Sunday January 31, 2021, Jose David Pleitez passed away at the age of 86. Born April 21 1934 in El Salvador to Marcelino Pleitez and Josefa Merlos, David led a life enriched by his family and his faith. His laughter was contagious and his spirit was genuine. His love for his family was unconditional and apparent even until his death. His hobbies included spending time outdoors fishing or simply being with his family and friends.
His legacy will live on through the hard work he instilled in his children and all those around him. If you knew him in life, take comfort knowing that his legacy will live on through you. He will always be with us when we remember the love we have for our family and the faith we have in God.
David is survived by his wife, Maura Pleitez and his children Esther (Victor) Fuentes, Rosy Pleitez, Manuel (Julia) Pleitez, Isabel Pleitez, Raul (Ines) Pleitez, Berta (Ramon) Pleitez, Alicia (Jorge) Pleitez, Celia (Luis) Pleitez, Wilman Pleitez, Miguel (Andrea) Pleitez; grandchildren Vanessa and Diane Fuentes, Alonso Saracay and Daniel Mejia, David, Stefanie, Natalie, and Brian Pleitez, Mayra, Juan, Nelson, Veronica, Jessica, William, and Christian Pleitez, Jimmy, Christian, Alexander, and Samantha Pleitez, Matthew and Kimberly Garcia, Ashley, Juliana, Cesar, and Allison Arias, Ariel and Adrian Pleitez, Miguelito Pleitez; great grandchildren Valentina and Noah Saracay, Landon and Rosalind Mejia, Kylie, Isabella, Leah, and William Pleitez, Anthony Pleitez; and his sister Teresa Pleitez
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Phillips Hall of Roselawn Funeral Home at two o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, February 7th, 2021 with a burial service to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from eleven in the morning until two o’clock in the afternoon at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Jose David Pleitez de 86 años falleció en Enero 31, del 2021. El nació en El Salvador el 21 de Abril de 1939, hijo de Marcelino Pleitez y Josefa Merlos. David siempre va hacer recordado por su espíritu alegre y dedicación a su familia. Los encantos de él incluían, pescar, ir de viaje, pasar tiempo en el campo, y mayormente estar reunido con su familia y amigos.
David fue una persona alegre y feliz. Su energía y sonrisa era contagiosa para todos que tuvieron el placer y la bendición de ser parte de su vida. David va hacer recordado como un hombre excepcional y maestro de vida que compartía su sabiduría con todos. Su memoria va ser siempre recordada por el amor de nuestra familia y la fe que tenemos en Dios, nuestro Señor.

Una reunión de familia y amigos se llevará acabo desde las once de la mañana hasta las dos de la tarde el Domingo 7 de Febrero del 2021 en el Phillips Hall de Roselawn Funeral Home. La celebración de vida empezaría a las dos de la tarde, seguido con su entierro a las tres de la tarde. Agradecemos profundamente a todos los que fueron parte de la vida de David y por sus oraciones y palabras de aliento durante estos momentos de dolor. Que Dios los bendiga abundantemente.
