John W. Zuccarello, Jr, survived by his beautiful, faithful and wonderful beloved wife, Darlene (Kopski) Zuccarello, of many years; and his brother, Donald D. Zuccarello. John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Free Will Baptist Bible College, and then graduated with a Masters from Talbot Theological Seminary. He was ordained to the pastoral ministry in the Bible Presbyterian Church. He pastored Bible Prebyterian congregations in Tennessee, California, Missouri and Colorado. In the course of his many years of his pastoral ministry, he taught all the Bible, verse by verse from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21. John was also involved in radio ministry and in a gospel tract ministry. In later years, he also focused on a prayer ministry. John composed many tunes to Bible verses and mainly from the Psalms, and was involved in a nursing home ministry for many years.
John is predeceased by his parents, John W. Zuccarello, Sr. and his wife Ednelia Mai Eckhardt Zuccarello.
In the latter days of his life during his illness, John was very thankful for the love and help of his lovely wife Darlene and for the love and support of his brother Donald. John was also thankful for the support and encouragement of his brother-in-law Joseph Kopski and for the support and encouragement of his sister-in-law, Fonda Jane Kopski. John was also uplifted by the support and concern of his cousin, Jeanne Rhodes of Crescent City, California. John was grateful and encouraged by two good friends, Sam Patel and John W. Troutt.
John was sustained by his hope in Jesus and blessed by love of family and friends. He would like to encourage all who hear these words to please trust in Jesus Christ and secure eternal life.
Services to celebrate John will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Monday, February 26, 2024 at Roselawn Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna, Tennessee.
