Franklin David Lovely

Franklin David Lovely, age 61, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro following a brief sickness. Mr. Lovely was preceded in death by his parents Franklin D. and Connie Collett Lovely and a brother, Michael Lovely. He is survived by his wife, Freda P. Lovely; three sons, Seth Lovely and his wife Estefany of Smyrna, Nathan Lovely and his wife Rie of Detroit and Josh Lovely of Murfreesboro, TN; step sons, Michael Hanna and his wife Olivia of Gainesville, FL and Christopher Hanna of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Susan Truax, Kathi Wolfe of Florence, KY, Jean Siegler of Florence, KY, Patricia Miracle of Pineville, KY, Debbie Meredith of Florence, KY and Michelle Johnson of Florence, KY; grandchildren, Thiago Lovely, Shaun Lovely, Mia Lovely, Yutio Andrew Lovely, Aina Lovely and Yuai Lovely; step grandchildren, Luna Hanna and Isla Hanna; aunts, Diane Duncan and Bertina Gray; sisters-in-law, Patricia Corn of Austin, KY and Linda London of Beaumont, KY; several nieces and nephews and his Nissan family.

Services to celebrate David will be at Eleven O’clock the morning of Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Brother Ron Byers officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are cordially invited to visitation the evening of Monday, October 16, 2023 from Four O’clock till Eight O’clock also at Roselawn Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be John Holland, David Caldwell, Erick Chan, Lloyd Lynd, Matthew Anderson and Ryan Byers.

David was a loyal fan of the University of Kentucky sports, especially basketball. He was a member of Barfield Baptist Church and he loved “muscle cars” and traveling with Freda to Cedar Key, FL. David had worked at Nissan since 1991 and was looking forward to retiring sometime next year. He enjoyed raising vegetables in his garden.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
