Carol Ann Peters

Born and raised in Tennessee, Carol dedicated her life to caring for others. Her occupations were many, but her true vocation was being a beacon of love and support to her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

One of Carol's proudest accomplishments was writing a children's book, Duffy Dunphy: The Tale of the Missing Goldfish, a testament to her creative spirit and love for storytelling. Her book brought joy and laughter to countless young hearts, and its legacy will live on for generations to come.

Carol's life was filled with meaningful experiences and treasured moments spent with her grandchildren. She believed in the power of making memories, and she traveled far and wide with her loved ones, creating unforgettable adventures together. Whether it was exploring new cities or simply enjoying a picnic in the park, Carol always found ways to make each moment special.

In addition to her passion for travel, Carol had a green thumb and found solace in her garden. She spent countless hours nurturing beautiful blooms and cultivating a serene oasis. Gardening was not only a hobby but also a reflection of her nurturing nature, as she saw the potential for growth and beauty in everything around her.

Above all, Carol will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to caring for others. She had an incredible ability to include and uplift those around her, making everyone feel valued and cherished. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and her presence in the lives of those she loved will be deeply missed.

Carol Ann Hoback Peters was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Betty Hoback. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Peters and leaves behind her 3 children, 2 stepchildren, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as her brother, 2 sisters, countless nieces and nephews and a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering support. She will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the life she lived and the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Carols life will be held in her honor, Saturday, Jan 13 from 11-1 at True Vine Freewill Baptist Church in Smyrna Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your charity of choice, in Carol's name, as a reflection of her lifelong commitment to caring for others.
