

She was born June 17, 1927, in Fentress County, Tennessee, the daughter of Paul and Gertie (Stonecipher) Williams. Sarah was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Old Town Hill Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (husband Gary) Stoner and Linda (husband Danny) Houk; three sisters, Irene (husband Leslie) Bell, Marveline (husband Ray) Garrett and Pauline (husband Herbert) Bilbrey; three half-sisters, Linda (husband Terry) Burke, Judy Coffey and Debbie (husband Steve) Leicht; three grandchildren, David Stoner, Brent (wife Rebecca) Houk and Stacey (husband Chris) Shannon; six great-grandchildren, Caroline Houk, Theodore Houk, Winston Houk, Truman Houk, Lexiana Shannon and Drake Shannon and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gertie Williams; her husband of 52 years, Berry G. Jennings; an infant son, David Jennings; two brothers, Ray Williams and David Williams; and one sister, Mary Sparks.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Bruce Reynolds and Pastor David Houk officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
