Robert A. Jewell

He was born Wednesday, October 26, 1955, in Oakland, California, the son of Arthur Jr., and Karlene Jane (Kizer) Jewell. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and going on vacations. His many hobbies include fishing, crocheting, woodworking, rock collecting, and crafts. He was a tow motor operator for Indiana Glass.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Amelia (Cash) Jewell; son, Robert Jr.; daughters, Suellen, and Amy (husband, Doug); seven grandchildren, Owen (Sonni), Jeffery, Ashley (Chris), Angel, Douglas, Audrey, and Claude Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Ari, and Charles, and a third who is on the way; three step-great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Jensen, and Ryleigh; and a nephew, Jeffery Jewell.

His parents, Arthur Jr., and Karlene Jane Cunningham; and his brother, William “Billy” Jewell, preceded him in death.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Paul Walden officiating. Private burial will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
