Robert E. Hubble

Robert Earl Hubble will now peacefully rest with the love of his life, Sandra Lee (Schumaker) Hubble. Robert “Bob” lived a wonderfully fulfilled lifetime as an amazing provider for his wife of fifty-eight years and his two daughters. He was born Thursday, March 23, 1939, to George Edwin and Pmelia Leota (Wethington) Hubble, in Lebanon, Indiana, and began his journey. Upon graduating high school, Bob went to work with his dad for the Marathon Pipeline, becoming a master electrician. Retiring proudly, yet feeling a bit stir crazy, he returned to the workforce as a permit writer for Blackhawk Engineering. With his fun loving personality, he made many treasured friends, whom he appreciated beyond words. He made a home and raised his two daughters in Elwood, Indiana, then moved to Muncie, Indiana, as he became a loving grandpa. His surviving family will lovingly and respectfully remember Bob. His daughters, Lisa Michelle Hubble-Jackson (James), and Kari Lynn Hubble; his only grandchild, A’Janae Jackson; his younger brother, Richard G. Hubble; his youngest nephew, Mike Hubble; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; great-nieces; great-nephews; and friends. Bob was preceded in death by “Hub” and “Leota” Hubble; Donald J. and Alice Schumaker; Sandra Lee Hubble; Benjamin Lee Hubble; Monica “Moni” Hubble; his furry baby, Sophie; and respectfully more, but not forgotten. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with an open visitation to join family for a luncheon that will follow in the Community Room at the funeral home. Private entombment will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
