Norma J. Anderson

She was born Wednesday, September 18, 1935, in Muncie, the daughter of James H. and Hazel M. (Jones) Boyer. Norma was an avid Elvis fan and collector. She loved making Elvis memorabilia. Norma also enjoyed dancing at the Eagles in Alexandria on Saturdays. Another favorite pastime was going to car shows with her pink and white 1955 Ford Crown Victoria.

Survivors include her son, Michael (wife, Diana) Anderson; grandchildren, Michael K. (wife, Kelli) Anderson, Melissa Rogers, Billy Wright, Amber Wright, and Angie Wright; sisters, Connie Sue (husband, Jim) Hathaway, Carol Ann (husband, Frank) Watson, and Mary Jane (husband, Paul) Cunningham; several great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Her parents, James Harvey Boyer, and Hazel M. (Jones) Rice; her husband, Wilbur Anderson; and her daughter, Annette Wright, preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Father Christian DeCarlo officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
