Martha J. Tomlinson

She was born Thursday, August 14, 1924, in Muncie, the daughter of Carl and Maude (Reynolds) Soules. Martha loved nothing more than her family. She was very active in the Muncie business community having owned and operated the original Dunkin Doughnuts on Wheeling Avenue.

Survivors include her son, Matthew W. (wife, Kelly) Tomlinson; daughter, Judy K. (husband, Doug) Britt; sister, Betty Brown; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Maude Soules; her husband, Omer Roscoe Tomlinson Sr.; son, Mark D. Tomlinson; brothers, Clarence Soules, and Merle Soules; sisters, Anneda Geyman, Dorothy Thomas, and Marie Dinkins.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
