Kathy A. Blanton

Kathy A. Blanton, 61, Muncie, passed away Friday afternoon, July 15, 2016 at AMG Specialty Hospital. She was born December 29, 1954 in Muncie, the daughter of Ralph and Nella (Logan) Haupt. Kathy enjoyed watching movies, fishing, listening to music, was an avid reader and especially loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include two sisters, Theresa Marlow (husband William) and Connie Hayes; brother, Michael Haupt (wife Michelle); her aunt, Betty Logan; grandson, Brice Blanton; her best friend, Kim Strouse; her former husband, Fred Blanton; several other aunts; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Blanton and a brother, Rick Haupt. Kathy's desire was to be cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at her brother, Michael's home, 2425 South Mulberry Street, Muncie, IN 47302.
