Denise Annette Wade

Denise A. Wade was born in Muncie, Indiana on Saturday, November 2, 1957, the daughter of William L. and Marian L. (Douglas) Wade. She died Friday, November 15, 2024 in Bradenton, Florida after courageously battling cancer for the past few years. Denise worked for many years at Easterseals Southwest Florida in Sarasota. Prior to that, she worked at Cannon Industries/Hillcroft Center in Muncie. Denise loved swimming, boating, working puzzles, and completing word searches. She looked forward to playing UNO and pass with her brothers. She loved ice cream and kept a journal for many years. Denise was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tim, her grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her sister, Beth Rahn (Verne), Yorktown; her brother, Bill Wade (Beth), Brookville, Indiana; nieces and nephews, Autumn Wade, Brett Foltz (Mindy), Brittany Cabrera (Miggy), and Will Wade; sister-in-law, Marcia Wade, and many cousins. Also surviving are her "Florida Family" members Wendy and John Linxwiler and family and Lorraine Ponge. They have cared for her since the death of our mother in 2005. There will be no calling. A gathering to celebrate Denise's life will be held at a later date.
