Obituary of Clara Adele (Hood) Clark
Clara Adele Clark, 77, of Parker City, Indiana passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on October 28th at her home. Clara was married to the love of her life, Darrel Clark on December 5th 1975. They shared nearly 50 years together, of a life full of love. Clara was born on August 25th, 1947 to Shirley & Cora Hood in Wilder Tennessee. Clara was employed at Feeney’s Manufacturing, Pizza King, Brooks Canning, Holiday Inn, Anchor Hocking, and Cast Metals Technology throughout the years. Clara was an avid bingo lover that routinely played at Knights Of Columbus. She enjoyed spending her time with her kids and grandkids, and always loved travels with family to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Clara is survived by her husband Darrel Clark, son Donnie Bell (Christa), daughter Crystal Foust (Shawn). Her grandson Zack Antrim, and granddaughter Kelsey Foust (Lucas). Her great granddaughters Kinlee & Chaselyn Antrim. Her sister Kathy Fannon. Her brother in law Carol Clark (Ada). Her sister-in-law Barb Hood. Brother-in-law Eddie Bailey. A very special niece & bingo buddy, Bobbie Hood. Clara is also survived by her most loved fur baby, Rip. Clara is preceded by her parents Shirley & Cora Hood. Father in law & Mother in law, Gilbert Clark & Eva Taylor. Sisters Bettey Groce, Agnes Bailey, Freda Daniels (Lonnie), & Dorothy Brummett (Jim). Brothers Corbet Hood (Judy), Lester Hood, & JF Hood. Brother-in law Salis Fannon. Special niece, Ruth Hood. Clara will be deeply missed by an extreme amount of family, bingo goers, friends, and her fur baby. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave., Muncie, IN 47304, with special family member, Nate Howard, of Whitley City, Kentucky, officiating. Burial will take place in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Friends and family may call from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 and from 10 am until the time of the service on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the funeral home.
