John Dorn Roberts Jr.

John was a resident of Moss Bluff for over 40 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. John will be remembered for his love of fishing, eating crawfish and drinking coffee with his buddies, but the thing he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Chong Roberts; two daughters, Lisa Hollis (Scott) and Dorothy Roberts; one son, John A. Roberts; eight grandchildren, Josh, Patrick, Tyler, Brooke, John, Charlie, Rebecca and Zane; and one great grandson, Zayd.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Amy J. Roberts Horne; two sisters, Debbie Miller and Mary Hagar; and one brother, Leonard Roberts.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home led by Hixson Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux.
