He was born in Lake Charles, LA on August 26, 1957 to Harold and Beulah H. Cutler. He was a graduate of Westlake High School and remained a life-long resident and served as acting Vice President for the International Alliance of Theatrical State Employees (IATSE), Local Union 260 Stagecraft. His passions included building models, riding his Harley and taking road trips

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Beulah H. Cutler; two brothers, David Cutler and wife Lesa of New Mexico, Mark Cutler and wife Nedra H. of Ft. Worth TX; one sister, Virginia C. Walling and husband Curtis of Westlake; one son, Joshua Cutler and wife Victoria of Westlake; one daughter, Jamie Casey and husband Matt of Oklahoma; one grandchild, Briana and husband Colton of Kansas.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Wednesday February 28, from 4pm to 8pm, visitation to resume on Thursday March 1, at 12pm till time of service. Services will be held on Thursday February 1, at 2pm with Gene Winkler officiating. Burial will follow at Bagdad Cemetery.
