Glenda Joan Jackson, age 82, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

She was born in Leesville, Louisiana to parents Claude & Virgie Walker on September 15, 1941.

She preceded in death by her her husband Jesse J. Jackson; her parents, Claude and Virgie Walker; and her son, Dean Jackson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jesse Wayne Jackson and wife Linda of Dallas, Texas, her daughter Rita Hudson and husband Troy Sr. of Merryville, Louisiana; her two siblings, Raymond Walker of Rosepine, Louisiana, and Claudette Cantrell of DeRidder, Louisiana; as well as 4 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome the public for visitation at The River Church in Merryville, Louisiana from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in New Llano, Louisiana.
