Christopher John Adams Doucet

Christopher John Adams Doucet, age 44, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 12, 2024. He was a loving father who treated everyone he knew as family, and was commonly called "Dad" by those that graced his door in his children's lives. Christopher will be remembered as a big hearted family man that loved to cook for those around him.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Murray Doucet, Sr.; grandparents John and Ruth Doucet and George and Agnes Hutchins.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Crystal Doucet; mother, Mary Doucet; children, Chandler Howard, Hayden Doucet, Christian Doucet, Baileigh Doucet and Serenity Doucet; brothers, Murry Doucet Jr. (Rachelle) and Michael Doucet (Ashleigh); and in-laws, Mark and Debra Salter.

Visitation will begin on Friday, July 19th, 2024, at 10:00 am until time of funeral service at First Moss Bluff Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 pm at the church. Rev. Bill Saxby will officiate under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
