Mrs. Hanks was born in Crowley, LA and lived in Moss Bluff. She was a graduate of Crowley High School and an active member of St. Theodores Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Come Lord Jesus, Altar Society, Lay Minister of Communion, and CCD Teacher. She worked for Walmart as a maintenance supervisor. Mrs. Hanks was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She started her last birthday on earth and finished it in heaven with Jesus and the rest of her heavenly family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hanks of Moss Bluff; sons, Luke Damian Hanks, Joel Micah Hanks both of Moss Bluff, Kevin Lee Hanks of Lake Charles, and Kylan Mark Hanks of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Sarah Ilyse Hanks and Kristi Lynn Cormier both of Moss Bluff; brother, Rusty Guillott of Alabama; sisters, Barbara Faye Guillott of Crowley, Donna Lynn Miller of Scott, LA and Sally Ruth Guillott of Alabama; eleven grandchildren, Brandon, Devin, Victoria, Kayla, Carly, Alex, Nicholas, Nicole, Annalyse, Bella and Gabriel; one great grandchild, Gracelyn.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Rose Trahan.
A mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Friday, October 12, 2012 at St. Theodores Catholic Church. The Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will begin Thursday 4pm-9pm with a rosary at 6pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and resume 8am until service time Friday. Burial will be in Hanks Cemetery.
